1. Introduction
This Refund and Returns Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through the AJM Suppliers website. AJM Suppliers (Registration Number: 2022/686238) (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a South African–based online supplier of golf equipment and accessories.
This Policy is drafted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA) and applies in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions.
By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
2. Cooling-Off Period (Online Purchases)
In terms of the CPA, customers have the right to cancel an online purchase within 7 (seven) days of delivery without penalty, provided that:
- The goods are unused
- The goods are in their original packaging
- The goods are in a resaleable condition
2.2 Return shipping costs during the cooling-off period are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise required by law.
3. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods
3.1 If goods are found to be defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, customers must notify AJM Suppliers within 7 days of delivery.
3.2 Subject to the CPA, AJM Suppliers will, at its discretion, offer:
- A repair
- A replacement
- A refund
3.3 Where goods are confirmed to be defective or incorrect, AJM Suppliers will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
4. Six-Month Implied Warranty (CPA)
4.1 In accordance with the CPA, customers are entitled to an implied warranty of quality for 6 (six) months from the date of delivery.
4.2 This warranty does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or negligence
- Incorrect installation or modification
- Damage resulting from failure to follow manufacturer instructions
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless defective:
- Custom-fitted or custom-made golf accessories and supplies.
- Special-order items
- Consumables such as grip tape, solvents, adhesives, or cleaning products once opened
- Items showing signs of use, installation, or alteration
6. Return Process
6.1 All return requests must be submitted in writing to support@ajmsuppliers.co.za.
6.2 Returns will not be accepted without prior authorisation.
6.3 Returned goods must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
6.4 AJM Suppliers reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with this Policy.
7. Refunds
7.1 Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after receipt and inspection of the returned goods.
7.2 Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
7.3 Delivery and handling fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
8. Exchanges
8.1 Exchanges are subject to product availability.
8.2 Any price differences and additional shipping costs will be for the customer’s account unless the exchange is due to an error by AJM Suppliers.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, AJM Suppliers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from returned goods or refund processing.
10. Amendments
AJM Suppliers reserves the right to amend or update this Refund and Returns Policy at any time. The latest version will be published on the website and will apply to all future purchases.
